On-Site Childcare at Surf Salutations

Move, breathe, and take class knowing your little one is nearby.

Surf Salutations offers on-site childcare during select classes for children ages 8 weeks–12 years, making it easier for parents and caregivers to prioritize movement, strength, and community.

How Childcare Works

​

  • Childcare is available by advance booking only. Each child must be added as a dependent on your account and booked separately by 6 pm the night before class.

  • If your child is not yet added to your account, please email hello@surfsalutations.com before being able to book in under your child's name.

  • No last minute drop-ins are available.

  • For the June pilot, it's $12/child.

 

​What We Provide

​

  • We provide baby bouncers, a toddler-safe playpen and some engaging toys and activities. Older kids are welcome too — please bring a quiet, mess-free activity for them to enjoy during class. We do not allow food or anything with small pieces for safety of the little ones joining us.

Capacity

​

  • Childcare takes place in our lobby and the capacity is typically 4–6 children, depending on the ages booked. If all children are infants, capacity is limited to 4.

  • If childcare is full, please join the waitlist. We may be able to open additional spots depending on the ages of children booked, and waitlists help us understand demand.

Important Policies

​

  • Comp/Guest passes and Movement Credits cannot be used for childcare.

  • Children who are sick will be declined on arrival. Late cancel and no-show policies apply in addition for both the Mat Pilates class and the Childcare class.

  • Parents must remain on-site during class and must have an emergency contact and signed waiver on file.

  • Childcare staff provide supervision only. Staff do not provide diapering, feeding, bathroom help, or personal care.

Book Childcare

​

  • Ready to take the Wednesday 9 AM class with childcare support?

  • Book your class and your child(ren)'s childcare spot(s) in advance through your Surf Salutations account. Each child must be booked in separately.

  • Booking window opens 7 days in advance of class (8 days for members) and closes at 5 pm the night before.
